READING-Library book

                   When you have read your book write a letter to me, [ on the back of this sheet] , telling why you liked or didn’t like this book. Make sure that you give a reason or reasons.

 

                    Also would you try to find a funny poem that you enjoy and bring it in to share with the class.

 

 

The only homework this week is to ask if the children could bring in an old,clean sock for Wed.14th May.They are going to be making a puppet.

Draw 5 things that are important about your book.

Put them in an envelope with author’s name ,title and your name as illustrator.

P.3/4 SPELLING - MNEMONICS- A mnemonic is a silly sentence using the first letter of each word to spell a difficult spelling.eg.

Big elephants can always use small elephants.

Now choose a word that you find difficult to spell and make up a mnemonic for it .

P3/4 READING-LIBRARY BOOK-Draw a picture of your favourite part.

P3/4 PROJECT- The children made up a list of questions to use when interviewing an older member of the family about T.V. when they were young.

                              Please would you spend a few minutes to be interviewed and help your child write the answers.
